Navigating Heritage with Expertise
Studio PFA was uniquely positioned for this project, having already assisted with the architectural services for the Cartier Brisbane fitout within the same building. This prior experience allowed the team to efficiently and effectively navigate the complex planning, heritage, and building approvals. The deep understanding of the site’s constraints and heritage requirements was crucial, enabling Studio PFA to streamline the approvals process and move the ambitious vision for Invicta House Brisbane toward reality.
Luxurious Materials and Intricate Details
The design response focused on rejuvenating the tired lobby with a carefully curated selection of materials and sophisticated detailing. A palette of luxurious gold metal finishes, large format Italian porcelain tiles, and imported German wall light was chosen to create a contemporary yet timeless atmosphere. Intricate stone wall linings with gold trims, coupled with diagonal tiles featuring hexagon and dot patterns, were implemented to give the space a more luxurious feel and the visual illusion of a larger area within Invicta House Brisbane.
Comprehensive Scope and Execution
The scope of work for the project was comprehensive, including new entry doors, a complete fitout of the stair and lift lobbies across all five levels, and a full lift refurbishment. Studio PFA’s role extended to conducting the tender documentation to ensure that an accurate quotation could be obtained. This meticulous approach to planning and execution was critical in delivering the high-quality finish required for all aspects of the Invicta House Brisbane fitout.
A Testament to Refined Design
The result is a timeless, luxurious lobby that not only serves as a lasting legacy for the owner’s family but also honors the rich history of the heritage building. The completed fitout is a testament to refined design, expertly executed by Studio PFA, creating a sophisticated entry that perfectly complements its high-end tenants. The Invicta House Brisbane project now stands as a benchmark for how heritage architecture can be revitalized with a focus on both history and modern luxury.
