Following the success of their Chadstone location, this project further cemented Anton Jewellery’s commitment to exquisite retail environments. This 120m² space, featuring an impressive 24m shopfront, showcases Studio PFA’s expertise in crafting bespoke luxury retail experiences.

Spatial Program
Nestled on the high retail level of Westfield Doncaster, adjacent to the mall’s atrium, the Anton Jewellery boutique benefited from a prime corner tenancy. This strategic position allowed for an expansive 24-meter shop frontage, maximizing visibility despite a modest 120m² floor area. The spatial program for Anton Jewellery included sophisticated window displays, a prominent central island display, dedicated multi-watch brand shop-in-shops, an exclusive VIP room, and efficient back-of-house and staff facilities, all meticulously planned to enhance the customer journey for Anton Jewellery.
Studio PFA's Comprehensive Role
Studio PFA provided full architectural services for the Anton Jewellery Doncaster project, encompassing everything from initial concept design and detailed design development to custom millwork design and managing landlord approvals. Our involvement extended through the building permit process, tender documentation, and comprehensive architectural and project management services during construction. A key aspect of our role for Anton Jewellery was managing the overseas procurement of custom millwork, which ensured superior quality finishes at a competitive price compared to local fabrication.
Innovative Design and Overcoming Challenges
The design theme for Anton Jewellery Doncaster was a thoughtful continuation of the successful Chadstone boutique. It featured an iconic central island display illuminated by a custom crystal chandelier, echoing the island’s form. The material palette included opulent gold metal finishes, plush purple fabrics, and luxurious Calacatta stone, creating a lavish atmosphere. A significant design challenge for Anton Jewellery was ingeniously integrating base building columns within the corner tenancy, which Studio PFA resolved by creatively concealing them within stone portals, forming a unique faceted stone corner display.
