Strategic Staging and Design at 300 Forest Rd Hurstville

A key challenge was the project’s staged approach, designed to allow the retail tenant to begin trading as quickly as possible. The ground floor fitout for 300 Forest Rd Hurstville was approved under a CDC (Complying Development Certificate), allowing for a quick turnaround. The more extensive base building modifications—including the upper-floor office refurbishments—were managed under a separate DA/CC, which required longer council planning approvals. This strategic approach was complemented by key design features in the office foyer, including a 4m long linear pendant light in a gold finish, set against statuario porcelain stone and mirror finishes for a modern, luxurious feel at 300 Forest Rd Hurstville.

The transformation of the building at 300 Forest Rd Hurstville was a commercial success, demonstrating our ability to handle complex, multi-faceted projects. The refurbished building now stands as a prominent landmark in the Hurstville Plaza, fully revitalised to meet the demands of modern commercial tenants. The project successfully highlights how strategic design, meticulous planning, and expert navigation of complex approvals can transform a dated structure into a highly functional and aesthetically pleasing asset that continues to evolve with the times.
